will be the responsibility for every sailor to arrange a Third Party
Liability Insurance to cover damage (body and property) min EUR 500.000.
There will no longer be a list of insured sailors on the IDNIYRA web site.
Each sailor must be able to show a proof of valid insurance as requested
by IDNIYRA regatta organisers.
Berckemeyer & Siemsen in Hamburg offers a DN icesailing insurance that covers third party legal liability including liability of one participant to another. Valid at both training and international competition. Invoice and confirmation of cover in English will be provided anually to each insured sailor. If you don't pay after two reminders the insurance will be cancelled. Please
notice that the GOTHAER Insurance is not mandatory. If you have
another possibility to get a sufficient third party liability insurance
you may choose that one, but be sure to get a confirmation of cover
in English.
