Only for User with Windows INTERNET EXPLORER (Firefox user are happy by default)

You need to change the settings for the websites http://www.icesailing.org and http://www.thinkice.de in order to have a proper use of the DN-Forum and the Icereport.

1. How to enable Cookies in Windows Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer 6.x
  1. Select Tools then choose Internet Options
  2. Select the Privacy tab
  3. Enable Cookies:
    • If using a default setting, move the slider to:
      • Medium
    • If using a custom setting:
      • Click the Edit Sites button
      • Add the websites http://www.icesailing.org and http://www.thinkice.de
      • Set Allow for both sites.
      • Click OK to return to the Privacy Tab
  4. Click Apply then OK
Internet Explorer 5.x
  1. Select Tools then choose Internet Options. The Internet Options screen appears.
  2. Select the Security tab.
  3. Click the Custom Level button. The Security Settings screen appears.
  4. Scroll down to the Cookies section
  5. Set Allow cookies that are stored on your computer to Enable
  6. Set Allow per-session cookies to Enable
  7. Click OK

2. How to enable Scripting in Windows Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer
  1. Select Tools then choose Internet Options. The Internet Options screen appears.
  2. Select the Security tab.
  3. Click the Custom Level button. The Security Settings screen appears.
  4. Scroll down to Scripting, and enable Active Scripting. Set to promt Allow paste operations via script and Scripting of Java Applets
  5. Click OK. The Internet Options screen appears.
  6. Click OK.

3. Add the Websites http://www.icesailing.org and http://www.thinkice.de to the list of Trusted Sites

Internet Explorer
  1. On the Internet Explorer Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  2. Click the Security tab, and then click the security zone where you want to add the site: In this case Trusted sites.
  3. Click the Sites button.

  4. In the Add this Website to the zone box, write or copy/paste in the Web address.
  5. Click the Add button.
  6. Note: If Internet Explorer asks for confirmation, you may be trying to add a site that is not secure. By default Internet Explorer will accept only sites, that make a secure connection.
    To add the unsecured Websites (http://www.icesailing.org and http://www.thinkice.de), click to remove the check in the Require server verification box.
  7. Click OK twice.
