Insurance Requirements

It will be the responsibility for every sailor to arrange a Third Party Liability Insurance to cover damage (body and property) min EUR 500.000. Each sailor has to be able to show a confirmation of cover as requested by IDNIYRA regatta organisers.
The insurance has to ....
1. - cover the liability of one participant to another with a minimum coverage of 500.000,00 Euro.
2. - cover the sailing area (worldwide or sea + inland lakes in Europe)
3. - be valid for training and international competition.
4. - be written in English language
5. - contain the period of validity.

Procedure for handling the confirmation of cover to get an ID for registering for an IDNIYRA-Europe event

When you intend to take part in a IDNIYRA-Europe event you have to send in your confirmation of cover to the Insurance Manager of IDNIYRA-Europe, Niklas Müller-Hartburg. (insurancemgr(at)idniyra.eu) When the confirmation is ok, he will assign you an ID, which you can use together with your sailnumber to make an entry for the event. If you want to take part in National races you also can send in your confirmation of cover and then your ID is valid for this races. Find your insurance ID with the link below.
