Big congrats to regatta winner L65 Mikael Pettersson, silver medalist D92 Hans Ebler and bronze medalist as well as Swedish champion 2012 S8 Fredrik Lönegren.

Results (after 6 races)

The live GPS tracking broadcast seems to have worked well. 735 people have watched a total of 4640 races!

Final venue selection | Södra Dellen, Hudiksvall
The Swedish Championship & Pre-Event 2012 will take place on lake Södra Dellen 20 km west of Hudiksvall. Launching will be made from Norra Sannäs Camping on the southern shore of the lake. It’s important to keep in mind that this is private land, so drive with extra care. There will also be signs from road 84 to guide you there.
 
 Ice conditions are exceptional and the weather forecasts look promising with light to medium winds.
 Hope to see many of you on the ice this Friday!

THE RACE IS ON!
 Today we got the report from lake Storsjön, Sandviken. It’s most definitely good for racing this weekend; hard ice with a few old snow spots which likely will disappear before the regatta starts. But we might have even better options; tomorrow the two other areas (lake Södra Dellen & lake Siljan) will be checked. As soon as we get the info we’ll make a decision on where we are heading.

No specific info to talk about yet, but we can probably forget about sailing in the Stockholm area this weekend. Tomorrow and on Wednesday we'll check a couple of sites further north; Storsjön (Sandviken), Siljan & Södra Dellen.

We'll keep you posted as soon as we know more!
